Snow Day, 1.24.15

Our first real snow in Boston came on a lovely Saturday morning, so we turned it into a morning of fun around Fresh Pond. We played with the dogs, had a snowball fight, took a few goes in the sled, and walked and walked. Everything was a beautiful sparkling white, and the snow was the perfect packing snow. I haven't been this excited to see snow in years. I don't know if it's because  the snow held out until late January, or maybe I just have really needed the soft, relaxing beauty that the snow brings to the city. But whatever the reason, I have been giddy as we've had a whole bunch sprinkled down on us lately.
Blizzard Juno post coming up soon :) That brought a whole different kind of snow day.

Then a nap because that's what we do ;)
