You only wish your car was this great

Just a few of the many reasons why our car is the coolest one on the block:

It is always an open topped car these days. Fan-cee.

The reason it is open-topped is because we are being eco-friendly by never using the heater. In fact, we just had it totally put out of commission so it doesn't tempt us.

Because of this we have to keep the sun roof open so we don't make other's feel jealous by the icey-sauna-like steamy conditions that commonly ensue when you put warm bodies in a cold car. It is very good for the skin, but not so much for visibility when it builds up on the windshield in a thick layer of condensation.

We also get to sit in the comfort of our own car to scrape ice off the windshield.

And cold water feet soaks are great for circulation and to get you going in the mornings:

Who needs to actually roll down the driver's side window when you've got an open top right? Makes us feel extra fancy to stand up through the sunroof to grab things from the drive through, like we are in a limo.

I could go on and on, but why flaunt it and make you all jealous. Let's just say Job and I are loving the luxury, and laughed the entire way to church last Sunday just thinking about how great life is.

But seriously, we did.
And we are so happy to have a car that has held on for so long despite it's little downfalls perks ;)

What has been your favorite car that you've had?

  1. Soooo good. I love stories like this. The things we do! This one is pretty extreme considering your weather.

My favorite car I've ever owned was our 1967 Plymouth Barracuda. It was so awesome. Never mind that I never drove it because I was afraid of breaking it with my very little experience driving a stick and also never mind that you walk away smelling of gas after a sunday drive! It was still the coolest car ever. Still miss Chuck-Cuda.
