Cambridge Violin Festival

For the past 3 years Job and his teacher have organized a 9 day violin festival right after school lets out. The idea is that it's an intensive program with lots of lessons, and the students learn a whole new piece in that time. People from Job's school attend, and sometimes people even come from far away to participate. This year there was a musician from Italy that came, and we hosted him in our home. It is always fun to meet people from different places, and now we have a new friend to go see when we go to Italy :)

At the end of the learning period, everyone plays their piece in a concert which is held at our church building. The community is invited to attend and it is always a really great concert. All the violinists are extremely talented, and the pianist that plays with them is a top notch concert pianist.

I loved Job's piece this year, he really knocked it out of the park. I know I am partial, but he was my favorite ;) Bravo Jobito! He did a lot to help organize the event, and it turned out beautifully.

The group (some of them ripped off those formals right after playing ;) Most of these people are from Job's studio at school so they are a tight knit group. They call Job "boss" haha.

 After party!
