Oh you know, your basic B&E

So it's been a while. How are you?

I'll just cut to the chase here. Our apartment was broken into last week and we were robbed. Big bummer. Luckily Job's violin and my little sister's flute wasn't taken, something that lead the police to think it was a druggie searching for quick things to sell on the street. Which meant our computers, i-pod, jewelry, designer purse, wallet, etc. What a sad life to be so dependent that you have to hurt other people to get what you want. I felt bad for him/her for a few seconds, but am selfish and mostly just felt bad for us. We luckily have insurance (get it!) but insurance can't bring back 7 years of pictures which were on Job's computer. I cried. Not for our "stuff", I am not too attached to "stuff", but for memories that are so much easier to remember with a photo. So if anyone wants to send us pictures of anything Job and I are remotely connected to we would be mighty glad to accept them ;) Live and learn I guess. Back up things every 2 seconds and save your pictures on the internet somewhere. Or make cds. Or print them all out. Or all of those things. Or something.
Ok PPP (public pity party. Nice.) over.
Anyways we do not have a computer so I have not been able to blog. My computer time is limited to the libary or when I tag along with Job to his school. So hopefully we will get an insurance check soon and can go get a new computer but in the meantime blogging is on the back burner. Which is a crying shame because I have so many fun things to post! 2 1/2 weeks of a party while my fam was here! :) And I even have a few pictures left over on my camera, yay!. (None of you and Cody though Bec. I upload pictures very frequently so yours are gone :( Send me some?! ;)

I guess that's all folks. My  brain is too tired to think of something even remotely interesting or clever to say. Oh except mum-you are the best, thanks for your help this past week and for being cheerful even though this whole ordeal could have put a damper on our time together. Thanks for making it super fun anyways! :) Love you!

  5. thats scary! i understand the feeling that you're having! my car was broken into and for the longest time i thought they implanted something in my car like a bomb or recording device to see when i would put good stuff in there. but this thief was pretty dumb i realized. they left the more valuable things and took change, and mix cds that my friends made me back in middle school. cray cray. just crack heads i guess. sorry that happened to you, just glad youre all ok!
