Rang in the season at the Annual Boston Tree Lighting Ceremony.
History alert: In 1917 Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada had a big explosion and Boston quickly came to it's aid sending people and supplies to help. Every year since then Nova Scotia sends a huge 50 foot tree to Boston as a symbol of thanks.
The event was filled with performers, sing alongs, people, cheesy newscasters and more. Add a thermos of hot cocoa and we were set for an evening of festivities.
